Inner Child Community Expressive Art Workshop
$20.00

What My Inner Child Needed...and Might Still Need is a restorative, community-centered expressive arts workshop that invites participants to reflect on the needs, joys, and messages that shaped them in childhood—and how those experiences influence the way we care for ourselves and the next generation.

Using the Japanese practice of Kintsugi—the art of repairing broken pottery with gold—as a guiding metaphor, participants will mend a ceramic bowl while engaging in guided inquiry, reflection, storytelling, creative expression, and collective dialogue.

This workshop weaves together expressive arts, somatic reflection, cultural remembrance, and collective care. Participants leave with a bowl they created, renewed insight, and a shared commitment to nurturing the child with and the children and communities around you.

What We Will Explore Together:

What we will explore:

  • Somatic Practices: Body-centered practices

  • Symbolic Rituals: Tangible creative acts that honor and celebrate your inner child.

  • The gold in the cracks: Discovering the unexpected gifts, strength, and resilience that remain.
