In the spirit of Día de los Muertos, we invite you to a space of collective care and community expressive art therapy. Using the ancient Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi—the art of golden repair—we honor the beauty in our grief.
This workshop is a ritual of remembrance, mending, restoration, and resilience where we mend our bowls as a metaphor for our hearts, acknowledging that mending does not erase loss; it creates a new relationship with what remains.
What to Expect
What we will explore together:
Somatic Practices: Body-centered practices to work with the energies of grief and loss.
Symbolic Rituals: Tangible creative acts that honor and celebrate the enduring love and relationship that persists beyond the physical.
The gold in the cracks: Discovering the unexpected gifts, strength, and resilience that remain.
